Minutes of Meeting  

January 28, 2006

The meeting was called to order by Alice Bergeron. There were 25 members in attendance. Alice announced the new slate of officers as follows:

                                            President - Alice Bergeron

Vice President - Jane Vidales

Secretary - Sylvie Adams

Treasurer - Rod Haper

The Executive Committee at Large Members will be Bob Prater,  Mary Haper,  and Lena Brooks.

 The slate was passed by a voice vote.

 Jay Aiyer thanked the Club for their support during his recent campaign for City Council.

Our speaker, Murvin Auzenne, gave us suggestions and guidelines to follow in order to conduct meaningful discussions with those who oppose our ideas. He also provided a list of books for further study.

Rod reported the balance in our treasury was $1,518.19.
